We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager - Accounts who have a construction/ contracting background and we are based in Technopark, Jabel Ali.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing accounting and finance functions
- Preparation of all P&L and BS Schedules for year-end audit
- Preparation of monthly MIS
- VAT Return filing
- Coordinating with Banks and submitting the required information for working capital facilities (LC, PPC, OD) and non-funded facilities
- Supporting the commercial team in reviewing and collecting of receivables
- Monitoring open advances
- Reviewing of provision requirements as part of monthly books closure
- Inter-Company Reconciliation
- Payroll processing
- Any other tasks as required to support the business
Requirements:
- Experience: 4 - 7 years UAE experience
- Education Qualification: Must be a qualified CA
- Must be from a Construction background
- Strong communication skills
