Main Responsibilities:
- Driving the strategy, creation and execution of sales initiatives across your cities to enhance performance
- Manage resources and prioritise workloads within the Department to ensure achievement of sales targets and KPIs
- Coach and support team members through regular 1:1 and bi-annual reviews to identify and address development needs and construct development plans which will build a high quality team.
- Monitor team performance and output through use and analysis of performance and quality data, in order to set or adjust targets and measure success against them, and raise the standards in the team.
- Motivate the team to maintain high morale, low absenteeism and turnover.
- Scoping different city zones to identify brands and chains with the best fit for the delivery model, and initiate contact through referral, email, call, or walk-in
- Building relationships with top brands and chains to prepare onboarding on Deliveroo platform
- Acquisition of new restaurants with strong negotiation acumen and out of the box thinking
- Putting together proposals that fit the needs of the restaurants while keeping Deliveroo's profitability top of mind
- Ensuring a smooth and complete integration process when bringing a partner onboard, from the registration phase to the operational launch
- Reporting to the BD Lead with city performance stats and working across departments to share updates
- BSc/BA in business or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of sales & negotiation along with team management experience preferably within a high growth company
- Proven negotiation skills
- Self-starter capable of driving yourself to your targets every month
- A fantastic communicator with a "get it done" mindset, well organized and efficient
- English proficiency - Arabic is a plus
