Sales Coordinator Job at Jumeirah Group & Corporate office Dubai United Arab Emirates

An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Coordinator to join the Global Sales Middle East & Africa department in Jumeirah Group & Corporate office. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Assist the proactive global sales team in their day-to-day operations. Carries out secretarial and administration duties in a professional and courteous manner, assisting the team to carry out duties and achieve targets.
  • Ensure all business development activities are fully aligned with Jumeirah’s Brand Standards.
  • Manages and controls the monthly departmental P&L to ensure all is tracked and communicated accordingly to finance.
  • Provide ad hoc reports when and if requested and complete month end reports.
  • Manages data filing system for the department to include the contracting process.
  • Responsible to coordinate and send the sales collaterals and gift items to the desired destinations as and when instructed by the sales team.
  • Assist in setting the annual GSO MEASA roadshows, ATM and any other key client events within area of responsibility.
  • Assist in the process of drafting the familiarization trips itinerary, coordinate with the hotels to finalize the plan and the program. (i.e. booking rooms, complete forms, send itineraries with the assistance of the on-property teams.)
  • Establishes and maintains professionally effective communication within the Global Sales Team and to supporting departments.
  • Coordinating with respective hotels/departments for VIPs, arrival details, amenities, special arrangement for in-house or visiting clients.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office)
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
